this probably isn't an unpopular opinion, considering movie theatres suck when it comes to everything except watching the movie. i just wish more movie theatres had arcades with... traditional-style games? this isn't me trying to say that arcade games from the 80s/90s were infinitely better or not trying to sucker you out of your money (they were).

i recognize that arcades are from a by-gone era where home console gaming was expensive and home computer/console ports weren't really comparable to actual arcade versions. likewise, movie theatre arcades target people who usually only have a short amount of time to waste and want to experience something they couldn't get at home/from an actual gaming console (giant pac-man arcade machine, giant-ass claw machine), but dammit that doesn't mean i have to like it.

i literally fucking studied stacker ages ago. I can beat it fairly easily; its not that hard once you know some of the tricks (like how the timing of the beat is slightly off in order to throw you off near the end game, or how 3 blocks starting out indicates that you won't get the major prize unless there are enough tokens).

look it up. the game is literally rigged.
