I fumbled a 10 in my first dance ever

I was at Midtown-Boomers last Friday night with some friends from Engineering and elsewhere. Boomers is half dance-floor, half bar past 7PM, so we all went and had some beers. I was with a good 5 other people, and we were having a good time as people slowly fill onto the dancefloor. I did NOT want to go dance, so I waited for a while and let the others head up. After enough bothering me (and 4 Jager bombs) I was convinced to stand up and bob up and down, maybe toss Karsten around in a circle while he spins. Dancing Queen came on and then I broke my vocal cords singing it too loud (after being silent for every song for the last 2 hours).
Upon coming back from the bathroom, I huddled in our little friend group circle as an arm grabs mine and a voice whispers in my ear "Do you have a girlfriend?". My brain immediately shuts down and I am confused. I was SO close to saying "Yes, sorry" but then remember my friends would beat me up if I did that since they all know I am horribly single and looking for a girlfriend. She grabs my hands and we start dancing. Let me reiterate that I have never danced before, and am very confused by what is happening, since she is very pretty, I am quite intoxicated (nowhere near incoherent), and I just got asked to dance (??????). I look over and my guy Robert is all smiles filming me, so yes, there is video proof. She held my hands, which is good, because if I was to do the typical slow dance hands (arms on shoulders/waist), I for SURE would've put my hands on her shoulders and kept her at arms-length away since I have apparently zero social skills until taught.
She then said she was going to do a dip (a dance move). I didn't hear her, I was told later on by people watching the video proof. I think I pulled it off fine, although not sure if I was supposed to catch the leg on the way down (I am assuming not, but I had no idea what either of us were doing). Afterwards, we hugged, and in the heat of the moment I said "Nice to meet you!" and probably a thanks (really not sure). Only a minute after did Michael ask if I got her number, to which I replied "Of course not" and then immediately realized that it was probably the easiest phone number I could've grabbed in my entire life. She seemed all smiles the entire time, and did choose me out of the crowd, and I didn't do TOO bad dancing. I couldn't find her for the rest of the night.
Then a SECOND lady dances with me, but this one happened more suddenly. I also fucked this one up WAY harder, which is why I look back more fondly on the first one. I think the second lady was trying to grind on me? Unfortunately for her, we were doing the shoulder/waist hand formation, so I was holding her shoulder with an IRON grip, keeping her a solid half-meter from my nether region. I also didn't get the memo that when the girl puts her hand up, SHE wants to spin around, so whenever she put her hand up, BOTH of us would spin. I feel bad for her, but it was my second dance ever with a girl so I should've have expected much better, could be a fluke that the first one went as well as it did. The second girl walked away understandably without saying anything, which is when I then decided to leave (before any more ladies try to hit on me  )
It's been a few days and the fumble feels bigger with each passing day. It's like Cinderella, and I'm Prince Charming, but instead of a fancy ball and a glass slipper it's a bar/dancefloor called Boomers and a 35 second cellphone video. I am gonna start going to Boomers more often, hopefully I get to talk to her sometime in the future, but I'll just have to wait and see what happens. She may think I am not interested after not taking the shot at first, but hey, maybe she'll teach me how to really dance.

Hey man i once met a really cute german girl downtown and didn't get her number and never heard from her again. Also one time I danced and had a great time at a club on new years with this girl but was drunk and didn't get her contact, but I lucked out and met her skating at the oval the next day. Went on a few dates but it didn't end up working out.
