it has 1gb of ram
its running the bionicpup32 (puppylinux) which is super lightweight. the battery life on this thing is literally 10x better than my big ugly Gaming Laptop (puke and barf) and it is 10000000x more FUCKING ADORABLE!!!!!!

i just spent the last 2 hours getting it set up on the uni wifi, which was a massive headache because ofc they had to use WPA2-Enterprise which uses a username and password, which was not an option in my network setup tools. i even downloaded Peasywifi on my big computer and transferred it over via usb, but even that didn't have an option for wpa2-enterprise.
chatgpt literally saved my ass on this one. i was combing through forums and couldn't find anything useful because there wasn't anyone whose specific problem was close enough to mine. but i told chatgpt what was going on and it told me the terminal command to set everything up manually :D
it was not without a hitch though, because in order to set it up manually i had to create a config file, and for some reason this thing doesnt have a single text editor installed. and ofc i couldn't even download one from the package manger without internet lol. so i had to just write the config on my other laptop and transfer the file by usb again.
but it all worked out and now the vaio is CONNECTED !!! thank you chatgpt (great overlord)
also shoutout to bionicpup fr. ive got several processes running including this browser and its only using 233MB of memory. that is actually insane to me
