Microwave is superior food heating

Put food in, enter number, goes brrr, and then when timer hits 0 you get heated food. Plus certain foods explode or spark in the microwave so that's a bonus.

i like to cook baked potatoes in the microwave. just put some olive oil and salt and pepper on it, poke some holes for ventilation, and wrap that puppy in tin foil. microwave does it best lmk if u try this recipe

you couldn't catch me dead trying to cook like, eggs or bacon in the microwave.

that being said potatoes are def ideal microwave food. i've recently been using them to "cheat" and make homefries; chop potato up, nuke for anywhere between 3-5 minutes (depends on size and how many potatoes), toss into heated + oiled frying pan, cook until golden brown, and add shit loads of spices. Its a lot quicker than waiting for water to boil. makes for a really quick meal if you just fry some peppers alongside them, and then fry an egg or two afterwards.

i saw a "life hack" where they put an egg in a mug of water and microwaved it for like 1-2 min, and it came out perfectly poached. i tried it a few times and it worked, but one time i tried to do it with two eggs and they fucking EXPLODED all over the microwave and made a huge mess that was fucking awful to clean up so i havent done it since lmaooo

From what i've heard its not always a good idea to microwave eggs without mixing them first; something about pressure? idk. There are a lot of very misleading/false life hack videos because of course there are, thanks modern internet. the youtube channel "How To Cook That" has a great series of videos on them
